I have loved all things mechanical and I am fascinated with technology. I have been collecting designing and creating small pocket folders and pens for awhile now; and as technology has increased and open doors – I have walked through, using CAD, 3D software, CNC and EDM to make my designs real.
The transaction was completed on August 2, 2005.[19] Boeing retained ownership of Rocketdyne's Santa Susana Field Lab. As the missile entered production, NAA spun off Rocketdyne in 1955 as a separate division, and built its new plant in the then small Los Angeles suburb of Canoga Park, in the San Fernando Valley near and below its Santa Susana Field Laboratory. Navaho ran into continual difficulties and was canceled in 1958 when the Chrysler Corporation Missile Division's Redstone missile design (essentially an improved V-2[3]) had caught up in development.

Using an iterative development approach, we are strategically focused on reducing vehicle complexity, cost, and time to market. Our patented technologies enable innovative designs once thought impossible and unlock new value propositions in the booming space economy. Rocketdyne's next major development was its first all-new design, the S-3D, which had been developed in parallel to the V-2 derived A series. The S-3 was used on the Army's Jupiter missile design, essentially a development of the Redstone, and was later selected for the competitor Air Force Thor missile. An even larger design, the LR89/LR105, was used on the Atlas missile.

Rocketdyne was an American rocket engine design and production company headquartered in Canoga Park, in the western San Fernando Valley of suburban Los Angeles, in southern California. There are a lot of new drawings, and the drawings previously on this websitehave been processed and cleaned up. Some are still rather poor, but these are the best available at this time. Hilary grew up in the Twin Cities in Minnesota where she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. After working in Minneapolis primarily on residential projects, she continued her education at the University of Oregon where she received her Master of Architecture. She then moved to Los Angeles and practiced with Richard Meier & Partners Architects.
We aim for our projects to provide and evoke the spectrum of experience from utility to simple joy; places that we want to return to over and over. Our design philosophy is centered around the belief that spaces need to be shaped, lit and clothed in a way that can dynamically mediate an occupant’s relationship with the surrounding site, both near and far. We have a specific focus on the proportion of spaces, the use and registration of natural light throughout a room and the manner in which materials lend character and tactility to a place. Our studios live in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Aspen, however they function as one, thinking and producing interactively and seamlessly in real-time on all projects. Building on the success of the Terran 1 program, we’re accelerating our focus towards Terran R, our medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket. The journey to Terran 1’s launch demonstrated our ability to design, analyze, develop, complete qualification, acceptance, and certification programs, and ultimately fly an orbital class rocket into space.
As a result, an RDRE-propelled craft could theoretically travel farther on the same amount of fuel as conventional engines that combust fuel at constant pressure. Some have also theorized it could be as much as 25% more efficient than current technologies. Rather than using a continuous burn like most rocket engines, RDRE operates by a detonation wave continuously rotating around an annulus, or ring-shaped, chamber. The fuel, hydrogen peroxide, is injected into the annulus and the repeated detonations become self-sustaining after the initial ignition. In the RDRE test flight, the annulus was approximately 12 inches (25.4 centimeters) in diameter and produced 1,200 pounds (544 kg) of thrust. Venus Aerospace has completed the inaugural test flight of a drone fitted with its "rotating detonation rocket engine" (RDRE) — accelerating it to just under the speed of sound.

I put time into deciphering old techniques to marry them with cutting edge technology. Lost Wax with 3D Printing – Japanese Patina Techniques with Modern Chemical Processes – Old Designs with the twist of the Future. Since 2013 I came back to Design and Knifemaking with a vengeance – literally!
Morgan was born on the East Coast but raised in the Great Plains, where he received his Master of Architecture at Kansas State University. Morgan came to RO | ROCKETT DESIGN with experience at architecture firms in the Midwest and New York City. Outside of the office, you can find him seeking adventure through skiing and hiking mountains with his dog. He studied at Miami University and received his Master of Architecture with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Zac has practiced with Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa, Italy and Aidlin Darling Design in San Francisco.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining RO | ROCKETT DESIGN, Nick worked at a small, interdisciplinary studio focused on residential projects, furniture for Herman Miller, and the Modern by Dwell product collections for Target. When he is not occupied by his creative pursuits, Nick enjoys exploring the beaches of Northern California with his wife and dog.
The experience, learnings, proof points, and data gathered during this program are major steps toward the development of Terran R. She left Oregon to study architecture in California where she received her Bachelor of Architecture and Minor in Sustainable Environments from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Prior to joining RO | ROCKETT DESIGN, she worked for several architecture firms in Idaho with experience ranging from commercial to large industrial projects. When she’s not in the office you can find her roller skating by the beach or exploring the city of LA. With strong roots in the southwest, Anthony’s inspiration focuses on the qualities found in and of the natural environment.
